TAL MORRIS

Tal Morris, aka T.MO is a guitarist drawn from the pool of music diversity. From rock, blues, funk and r&b, with a dash of jazz, to experimental textures and loops, its all just a chance to explore deeper a connection through music.

"I love to practice, improvise and perform. During performance there is a great feeling in a group of people from as many as 10,000 to just a few who dig the music. I'm feeling it just like they are, Im just the one who happens to be onstage channeling the sounds. Its a shared experience that I thrive on."

Currently Tal is touring as lead guitarist for Creedence Clearwater Revisited www.creedence-revisited.com

From 2000 to 2004 Tal was the lead guitarist in Bill Champlin's legendary San Francisco psychedelic-soul band The Sons of Champlin, touring the west coast and with whom he recorded a live DVD "Secrets" and new recording titled "Hip Lil' Dreams".

Tal also enjoyed stints with Huey Lewis and the News during the 2003 and 2004 summer tours during which he appeared on the Conan Obrien show with them.

A San Francisco native, at the age of 17 he cut his teeth by regularly sitting in on celebrated blues harmonica man Mark Naftalin's Blue Monday Party - a weekly live blues show that featured such greats as John Lee Hooker, Charlie Musselwhite, Lowell Fulson, & Percy Mayfield, among countless others.

Along the way, Tal has acquired performance experience at the side of many great musicians such as hall of famers Michael Carabello, Michael Shreive, Neal Schon, Ronnie Montrose (94 tour), Narada Michael Walden, Steve Smith, and Stu Hamm to name a few.
